8. SHOW DATES, SCRIPTS, CASTING AND COSTUME

At AliCaT, each class perform their own annual show. Please note your child’s show date ASAP to avoid school event/holiday clashes etc.

8.1) AliCaT will provide each student with a script, at no extra cost, however should the script be lost a digital script in PDF format will need to be purchased. It is the responsibility of every child to bring their scripts to every class.

8.2) Please support your children where necessary, to learn their lines/words at home.

8.3) We try to choose shows that have enough differentiated parts for every child to have a role. Equally, much thought is given to the storyline, theme, and duration, and of course that it is age-appropriate. PLEASE NOTE; Every child develops at their own pace, therefore we ask parents and children to trust the process of theatre, the opportunities that arise, and how a show evolves.

8.4) We provide the costume for all AliCaT productions unless of course there is something specific a child has at home and would like to include in the show.

8.4a). We do not provide footwear

11. EVENT CANCELLATIONS, RESCHEDULING, AND ALTERATIONS

11.1 Cancellation: If an event for which you have purchased Tickets is cancelled in full (and not rescheduled), your order will be cancelled, and you will be refunded the Sale Price of your Tickets minus any service charges, order processing fees, administrative costs, and production costs. If you have purchased Tickets for an event that takes place over several days and one or more days (but not all days) are cancelled, you may only be offered a proportionate partial refund minus any service charges, order processing fees, administrative costs, and production costs.

11.2 Rescheduling: If an event for which you have purchased Tickets is rescheduled, Tickets will usually be valid for the new date (or you will be offered Tickets of a value corresponding with your original Tickets for the rescheduled event, subject to availability. If you notify us within the specified deadline that you are unable to attend the rescheduled event, you will be able to cancel your order and obtain a refund of the Sale Price of your Tickets minus any service charges, order processing fees, administrative costs, and production costs. If we do not specify a deadline, the deadline by default will be 48 hours before the date of the rescheduled event. Failure to notify us by the applicable deadline that you are unable to attend the rescheduled event will be deemed to be a reconfirmation of your order for Tickets for the rescheduled event, and you will not be able to claim a refund.

11.3 Material Alteration: If an event for which you have purchased Tickets is “materially altered” (as defined in clause 11.4 below), Tickets will usually be valid for the altered event (or you will be offered Tickets of a value corresponding with your original Tickets for the altered event, subject to availability). If you notify us within the specified deadline that you do not wish to attend the altered event, you will be able to cancel your order and obtain a refund of the Sale Price of your Tickets minus any service charges, order processing fees, administrative costs, and production costs. Failure to notify us within any specified deadline that you do not wish to attend the altered event will be deemed to be a reconfirmation of your order for Tickets for the altered event, and you will not be able to claim a refund.

11.4 For the purposes of this Purchase Policy, a “material alteration” is a change (other than a rescheduling) which, in our reasonable opinion, makes the event materially different to the event that purchasers of Tickets, taken generally, could reasonably expect. In particular, please note that the following are not deemed to be “material alterations”: the use of understudies in theatre performances; adverse weather conditions; pandemic; changes of any supporting act; changes to individual members of a performance; changes to the line-up of any multi-performer event (such as a festival); curtailment of the event where the majority of an event is performed in full; and delays to the starting of the performance of an event.

11.5 To claim a refund under clause 11.1, 11.2, or 11.3, please follow the instructions we provide to you or apply in writing to: admin@alicat.me (or such other address as notified to you by us). Where we instruct you to do so, you must enclose or return to us your unused Tickets (if received by you) and comply with any other instructions from us. For accounting purposes in relation to cancelled events, your unused Tickets must be received by us within 28 days from the date of the cancelled event. Please note, if you sell any Tickets, your right to a refund may be null and void under this Purchase Policy.

11.6 Refunds will be made using the same means of payment as you used for the initial purchase.

12. REFUNDS TICKETS

12.1 If your refund request is successful and you are due a refund from us, it can take up to 14 days for the refund to be processed. Please note, refunds can only be made to the payment method used for the original order and cannot be refunded via any other method of payment. To be clear all service charges, order processing fees, administrative costs, and production costs shall not be refunded and will be deducted from the face value of the ticket(s).

13. STATUTORY RIGHT TO CANCEL

13.1 Tickets cannot be cancelled, exchanged or refunded after purchase, save in the circumstances set out in clause 11 or 12.
